Thanks a lot :)
You are right - "being yet another WEC" is about our main obstacle right now. The real problem is that possible investors often prefers "proven" (read: tested and shown not to work properly :) ) technologies over newcommers like us.
It seems like potential european investors as well as the EU funding system either put their money in "proven technology" or have been scared away by to many promises and to few results. As a consequence we are currentlý putting our faith in Asia to propel this technology into commercial reality. A shame really......

Although it is yet another wave energy capturing device, your idea is indeed very interesting and not least extremely well presented compared to others! - good luck.

In general the Wavepiston WEC can be adapted to any waters. Among the parameters we can vary are the number of plates, the size of the plates and the counter-pressure in the PTO system.
Having said that, waves should preferably come from one or two directions as the efficiency of the system drops in oblique waves.
If you check out the report made by Aalborg university (see the document section) there is data showing how the efficiency drops off in obliqe waves

Dear Wendell
Its only our blog that is in wordpress, but its very easy to install. If you know how to upload content to your site then you can be up and running with Wordpress in 5 minutes. Making your own design requires some coding but you can just use an existing theme.
